Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is a Filipino American actress, model television host, and comedian. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. Her condition became severe and she had kidney failure and organ failure that didn't recover. Her life became a new routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. After having spent 80 days in hospital, she went from being close to death, and then a lengthy recovering journey. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Her mother would be the organ donor. Angelica, along with her mom, underwent successful kidney transplantation on the 13th of September, 2013 at two fantastic hospitals close to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star for years after.
